GIS 2023: the countdown begins!

Piacenza, IT

With the summer behind us, Easy Lift is getting ready for the next important event: the participation in the ninth edition of the GIS – The Lifting, Industrial Port Handling and Heavy Transport Show, which will be held at the Piacenza exhibition centre from 5th to October 7th.

After 2 years, Easy Lift returns to exhibit its spiders among over 400 exhibitors in the access sector, to introduce the Italian market and beyond its latest innovations in production and technology. It will certainly be a great opportunity to meet well-known faces and make new acquaintances, as well as discuss current issues such as, for example, investments in the field of environmental sustainability with battery-powered (BA) or hybrid (HY) machines.

There will be 3 tracked spiders on display at the fair, one for each range (small, medium and big): R180, RA24 and R420.

The R180 is one of the company's best-sellers, much appreciated by users for its compact dimensions and its outreach of almost 10.00 m with 80 kg (8.5 m with 120 kg). The machine exhibited at the fair will be equipped with diesel engine, non-marking tracks and provision for a GPS device (Track-Unit), painted in an intense blue that distinguishes the corporate fleet of the European rental company it will be destined to, together with other machines. In addition to the combustion engine and electric motor, the R180 is also available as a battery version (R180BA).

The RA24 model, presented to the public for the first time on the occasion of the last GIS edition, will also be painted with special colours. This time the colour of the Italian rental company the machine will be delivered to after the fair is bright orange. The RA24, with its double pantograph structure, is able to reach a height of 24.00 m, an outreach of 12.00 m and an up and over clearance of 11.00 m. The standard machine is equipped with diesel engine and electric motor, but the hybrid version (RA24HY) with diesel engine and lithium battery is also available. The machine at the show also features the Home Function, along with remote diagnostics device and a winch to lift goods, one of the latest news in terms of optional accessories for this model.

The last model on display, the R420, will be in hybrid version (R420HY), with self-levelling stabilizers and non-marking tracks. Thanks to a height of about 42.00 m, an outreach of 17.00 m and a low weight for its size (8,800 kg), it is an excellent ally for maintenance and renovation work on buildings and 5G antenna assembly, especially if equipped with the winch, capable of lifting up to 500 kg weight.

We look forward to seeing you at GIS, stand I57 – I58!
