With the return of the beautiful season, European trade shows are also reclaiming their space. April will conclude with a highly relevant event in the access sector, which is finally returning after six years of absence (the 2021 edition was cancelled due to the pandemic). This event is the Intermat trade fair, which will take place at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition centre from April 24th to 27th, 2024.
In this highly anticipated edition, our dealer for France, LVM Nacelles, we have been collaborating with for over ten years, will be present.
The fair, which takes place every three years, will see the participation of approximately 1000 exhibitors showcasing machines, equipment, and innovative solutions for operating in the construction and civil engineering sectors sustainably. The focus of this edition will be on circular economy and low-emission solutions for environmental respect, while still ensuring high performance for operators. There will also be a large demo area where visitors can see machines and equipment in action, including Easy Lift spiders exhibited by LVM, featuring the R130 and RA31 models.
The R130 spider is the most compact model in the entire Easy Lift range, appreciated for its versatility and adaptability in hard-to-reach contexts. The closed machine dimensions are only 0.84 m width, 3.65 m length without the basket, and 1.99 m height. It can reach a working height of approximately 13 m, with a maximum outreach of 6.5 m and a basket load capacity of 200 kg. In construction, the R130 is often used for both internal and external maintenance work on public and private buildings.
The other machine on display will be the RA31 model, one of the favourites among dealers, capable of reaching a working height of almost 31 m and a maximum outreach of 14.5 m. The model will be equipped with an increased basket load capacity up to 300 kg and a "home" function to facilitate automatic closure. This machine cannot only be used for maintenance of big buildings but also, thanks to its ability to work in negative mode down to -7 m, for infrastructure maintenance such as bridges, viaducts, and interconnections.
