On the occasion of the Apex 2023 fair (6th – 8th June, Maastricht, the Netherlands) we concluded a sales contract for 20 R180 spiders with the well-known Dutch rental company Collé Rental & Sales!
Collé Rental & Sales has been operating in the rental market for over 120 years, offering a vast fleet of machines such as forklifts, excavators, wheel loaders, mini cranes, cranes and aerial platforms to be used for any type of work at height in the construction, industry, cleaning, earthmoving, green maintenance and infrastructure maintenance. The company has a solid structure, with offices located in many European countries, in particular The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Denmark.
Since the beginning of our collaboration, we have delivered around eighty spiders to Collé, in the R130, R160 and R190 models, whose fifty are still in the fleet.
It is therefore the first time that Collè has opted for the R180 model, which reaches a height of approximately 18 m, it has a maximum outreach of 10 m with 80 kg in the basket, it is able to rotate 180° and stabilizes in just 3 m. Compared to the standard petrol engine, Collè has chosen the diesel engine, but the R180 is also available in a lithium battery version (R180BA), for a more eco-sustainable approach. Like all the Easy Lift spiders in the Collè fleet, these 20 R180s will also be painted blue, the company's distinctive sign, and equipped with non-tracking tracks and provision for a GPS device (Track-Unit).
The first sample, exhibited at the GIS fair in Piacenza, which was held from 5th to 7th October, will soon be delivered to the Dutch rental company together with the other machines from the first batch. The supply will be completed by February 2024.
