From 23rd to 26th March 2022 our dealer for the North American market Up Equip will be involved in the East Coast Demo Tour which will pass through Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina.
The Demo Tour includes 5 different stops on the road that will take our dealer to Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where they will attend the ISA Southern Chapter Annual Conference & Trade Show, and then continue to Springfield, Massachusetts, where they will reach the ArborEXPO.
The Easy Lift tracked platforms that UP Equip will exhibit at the two fairs are R180, R210, RA26 and RA31 but the absolute star of the East Coast Demo Tour will be the most requested model by American arborists: RA31.
RA31 is a double telescopic arm spider with jib, that reaches a working height of 30.2 m and an outreach of 14.5 m. One of the core features of this tracked platform concerns the variable-geometry outriggers, which allow it to be set up and stabilized even on uneven ground, while still obtaining excellent stability at height and thus ensuring operator safety during work. This strength means that the spider can be used above all in the tree care sector, which is very developed in America, precisely because arborists often find themselves operating in conditions that are not always favourable, for example, in woods or wild natural contexts that are not cared for by man, among leaves and plants that are particularly difficult to prune, grown on impassable soils.
In addition, the RA31 is equipped with separately expandable tracks that ensure greater stability while travelling, able to work even in negative up to 7 m. The tracks, during the stabilization of the machine on the ground, are able to rise up to 1 m from the ground. The RA31 stands out from other machines of similar height also for its particularly light weight of only 4,200 kg, which makes it easily transportable and loaded without the aid of ramps.
